The Vestry of St. Catherine’s is composed of nine adult members. These individuals represent the parish-at-large and are an important voice in the decisions of the parish. Candidates are elected for a three-year term at each annual meeting. The Vestry collaborates with the Rector in the spiritual and secular responsibilities of the parish, and is responsible for the finances of the parish. Vestry members oversee areas of ministry such as commissions, committees, and work groups. On Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Annual Meeting of St Catherine of Alexandria Episcopal Church, the Vestry and Diocesan Delegate nominations were voted on and approved by acclamation.
VESTRY MEMBERS
St. Catherine’s has three Diocesan delegates. The Senior Warden is one of the delegates and the other two delegates to Diocesan Convention are elected by the Parish at the Annual Meeting. The elected delegates each serve a two-year term. St. Catherine’s also elects two alternate delegates at the Annual Meeting and they serve a one-year term.
